It might be worth creating subcategories since many of these arms are sorted by country but not what they depict or the other way around. /Lokal_Profil 10:10, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
I do not agree with this proposition. Most of the images in this category are identified (the bearer is known), but are not put in the adequate categories. So the name Category:Unidentified coats of arms is not correct.

- Don't really care about if it's renamed or not. Just cleaning up the tree of files needing category attention. Now we have a single root (Category:Unidentified subjects) for these kind of files. Multichill (talk) 20:18, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
