I think that this image is a valued image as it is the only image in the scope in the specific time frame stated, midnight. I also consider the scope as broad as there are many images in the category (although all are in daytime) and is a famous landmark in the union territory of Puducherry. These images are also of a decent quality and geocoding is present too. It also is according to all of the other criterias for a Valued Image. Is the most valuable illustration of its kind on Wikimedia Commons - it is, due to the fact that "the kind" of images is nighttime, and there are no images of this kind. 2.) Is nominated as being the most valuable within a suitably generic scope - it is, as the scope is quite famous within the union territory of Puducherry (most probably the beach is famous with the whole of South India. 3.) Must illustrate its subject well - it is, as the picture is of a decent quality for this type of a kind, and describes its subject clearly. 4.) Is fully described on the image page. - image is sufficiently described on the image page. 5.) Is geocoded, when relevant. - it is. 6.) Is well categorized at an appropriate level - the category has 25 images, which seems to be reasonably sufficient.
