Search user languages

{{Editprotected}} "Search user languages" refers to Category:User which is redirected to Category:Users. But I think Category:Users by language would be better. --BáthoryPéter (talk) 12:00, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

{{Editprotected}} Could someone please replace solid 1px; with solid {{{solid|1}}}px;, width:248px; with width: {{{width|248}}}px;, margin-left:1em; with margin-left:{{{left|1}}}em, margin-bottom:0.5em; with margin-bottom:{{{bottom|0.5}}}em; and clear: {{{align|right}}} with clear: {{{clear|{{{align|right}}}}}} and add {{{extra-css|}}} into the style area?--F. Merge from Template:User Babel

The new template is NOT case sensitive

The first one adds correctly Template:User_BG-2, but the "new" one doesn't! (it adds Template:User_bg-2)

therefore: {{deprecated|note=Please use {{#babel}} instead.<br/>eg {{#babel:nl|en-4|de-2|fr-1}}}} is inappropiate.

This template is deprecated indeed, which doesn’t mean that it can’t be superior in some edge cases. It works just like the old one always except if the template name is a valid language code, either upper- or lower-case. (Technically you could change {{User bg-1}} to any content, and the new version would still show the Bulgarian language knowledge, while the old would show whatever you wrote in the template. It’s case sensitive if the template name is not a valid language code.) —Tacsipacsi (talk) 14:46, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
