Ooops, I was not clear enough: You don't have to include includeScript('MediaWiki:Gadget-libAPI.js');

includeScript does not work at all. It's undefined.

MediaWiki:UserMessages.js is deprecated and superseded by a gadget which loads faster Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-gadgets.
