My images were hand held and I panned with the monkey and so the images could not have been combined in the way you describe, though I am aware of the technique. My Cannon 70D actually has a 'beginner' setting 'low light hand held' which combines 4 images shot within a second, but I've never had a good result using it! Mind you, there is so much to learn in Photoshop, but I'm more interested in the taking not the post-processing!! Charles (talk) 22:55, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

Oh Charles, I'm also more interested in taking the photo than correcting things in post, but since I don't have the luxury of owning such fine camera equipment as you do, I have to rely more on post to get my pics up to par. :) I suspect The Photographer is in a similar position. Thanks W.carter, I was trying show him how improve the noise, however, it look like he preffer has a better equipment and not use some post-processing technique. For me this noise reduction trick is simply the best because there aren't lost of information --The Photographer 14:21, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Rather than using layers, I carefully select animal, then use 'unsharp mask' on animal, select inverse and then denoise background, touching up around hairs where necessary. It is time-consuming though! 10:34, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Since 1959, it is a Swedish tradition to (at 3 pm) watch Donald Duck and other Disney cartoons on TV. The most appreciated part is about Donald as bird photographer in Clown of the Jungle. Llevo ahora un poco más de un año en QI y un poco en FPC y debo decir que desde entonces he aprendido muchísimo, además me encuentro con gente muy amable. Aunque claro, a veces cada uno tiene sus propias ideas y no siempre coinciden con las propias pero siempre resulta constructivo y con respeto, al menos es lo que me parece. ¡Intentaré seguir con ese espíritu! Pues si, de eso se trata, somos prácticamente una familia, nos apoyamos tecnicamente en el mejoramiento continuo de la calidad fotográfica. Se que algunas veces, como tu mismo lo puedes constatar, se presentan algunos inconvenientes pero no pasan a mayores, especialmente porque el lenguaje escrito es fácil de malinterpretarse. VICbot and custom signatures

Hi old friend. I just wanted to let you know that when you do nominations at COM:VIC, you have to replace your custom signature with the standard signature in the nominator field (I've done it for your latest nomination [3]). For some reason, VICbot won't process promoted nominations if the nominator uses a custom signature. What I do is create the nomination and then copy and paste over my custom signature from User:INeverCry/Stuff. It's a slight pain in the ass, but otherwise the bot just ignores the promoted nomination. I hope to see plenty more VIC nominations from you going forward. Ultimamente eu tenho passado por momentos difíceis em minha vida, e deixei a Wiki em segundo plano. Achei que seria interessante eu avisar para você que estou me desligando por tempo indeterminado das minhas atividades por aqui.
