Animations of Kepler-Poinsot solids with direction colors

This page shows animations of the four Kepler–Poinsot solids, ordered in pairs of duals.

The colors are assigned to symmetry axes. E.g. yellow elements have 3-fold symmetry. (Compare this set.)

Their convex hulls, Icosahedron and dodecahedron, are also shown.

Pyritohedral symmetry is the result of coloring solids with icosahedral symmetry like solids with octahedral symmetry.

All these solids have icosahedral symmetry. Versions with only pyritohedral symmetry are shown first.

Links to the collapsible boxes are: #20pyr, #great20pyr, #great12pyr, #20ico, #great20ico, #great12ico,
