Caserta surrender proxies

English: These proxies are the credentials produced by the German Officers (von Schweinitz, Wenner) during the first surrender meeting, on 28 April 1945 (18:00). Those officers represented the Commanders in Italy (von Vietinghoff, Wolff, Graziani). Moreover, an accompanying letter for the photostat copies of the three powers to act to the MTO Deputy Commnder US General en:Joseph T. McNarney.
