Saint Severus parish church on Bourron-Marlotte.
Dedicated to Saint Severus (346-389) and to Saint Avoye martyrdom of the IIIth century; this church, one of the oldest in the Gâtinais, was built from the end of the Xth century to the beginning of the XIth century. The Hundred Years' War and the French Religious War led to its partial reconstruction during the XVth and XVIth centuries.
This building is inscrit au titre des monuments historiques de la France. It is indexed in the base Mérimée, a database of architectural heritage maintained by the French Ministry of Culture, under the reference PA00086828 .
