Built in 1968, with a $32 million renovation in 2009 by current owner Brookfield Properties, 1225 Connecticut Avenue is the "second redeveloped building in the United States and the first within the major business districts of the East Coast to achieve LEED Platinum status." Tenants include Citibank, Global Justice, and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
