English: The 157 series contained analog circuits for consumer audio and video tape recorders, from general-purpose op amps (К157УД1-К157УД8) to RMS rectifiers (К157ХП1), two-way noise reduction (К157ХП3) and motor controllers (К157ХА3). Development began in the early 1970s and continued into the 1980s. The К157УД2 is usually called an equivalent of the LM301, but all other 157 series ICs were indigenous Soviet designs.
