English: Agnes Taylor, registered at 499 (or 399?) tons was 1853 built by A McMillan & Son Dumbarton, Yard No 46 for John Kerr & Co. of Greenock. Along with her sistership John Ferguson, she was also put onto the trans-Atlantic trade between the Clyde and the West Indies. .
