The Ninfe-class, coastal hydrographic vessel Aretusa (A 5304) built by Intermarine, has been launched on June 7, 2000 and was delivered on January 10, 2002 along with the sister unit Galatea (A 5308). The ship is a catamaran, built in Fibre-reinforced plastic, designed to perform oceanographic activities as: sea depth research, detection of sunk hulls, topography and geodesy of harbor and coast, sea currents and water data.
