Deutsch: Aristion von Paros war ein griechischer Bildhauer. Er wirkte im dritten Vierte des 6. Jahrhundert v. Chr. in Attika. Vier Inschriften zu seinen Werken sind erhalten, zudem kann mit der Phrasikleia Kore ein Werk einer Inschrift sicher zugewiesen werden. Der gleichzeitig gefundene Kouros (NAMA 4890) wird ihm ebenfalls von vielen Wissenschaftlern zugeschrieben. Die Stele Aristionos war wahrscheinlich sein Grabschmuck.
English: Aristion of Paros was a greek sculptor. He was active in the third quater of the 6th century B.C. in Attica. His name is known by 4 inscriptions. For one of the inscription is the depending work, the Phrasikleia Kore surely is to assign. The nearby found Kouros (NAMA 4890) is possibly also made by Aristion. The Stele Aristionos possibly was his grave sculpture.
Français : Aristion de Paros était un sculpteur grec antique. Il était actif durant le troisième quart du VIe siècle av. J.-C. Son nom est connu grâce à quatre inscriptions. L'une des inscriptions correspond à coup sûr à une statue, la Coré Phrasikleia (statue de jeune femme). Le kouros (statue de jeune homme) qui a été découvert à proximité (et qui est classé sous la référence NAMA 4890) est peut-être aussi d'Aristion. La stèle d'Aristion (stèle Aristionos) était peut-être sa stèle funéraire.
