The Shiva temple of Bawka, also called Bavka Mahadev temple, is a panchayatana-style major temples complex ruin located on a hillock near Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh border, south of Dahod city. It has been variously dated between 10th and 12th-century. An inscription found here from early 13th-century suggests that the temple was a popular pilgrimage site before 1200 CE.

The Shiva temple of Bavka is badly damaged, with broken structural ruins now scattered in the temple compound. Four of the five temples of this complex can be traced only by outcrops and foundation print left. The main temple's shikhara and the upper section of its main mandapa are missing. On what remains of the main temple, the artwork on its walls, sections of the mandapa and sanctum entrance are exquisite and detailed. These include Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta and Saura themes, as well as a galaxy of Hindu deities.

The temple stands on a platform and has commanding views of the terrain all around it. Of note are the gaja-sakha (elephants near the plinth), artha scenes, kama scenes, and those showing historic Gujarati festivals.
