This is a recreation of the Bugatti Type 57 Paris - Nice from 1935. The original car (#57335) was ordered with a "Torpedo" (tourer) body by Dubos by Marseille Bugatti dealer Gaston Descollas who drove it to to victory in the 1935 Paris - Nice rally and to 2nd in class in the 1935 French Alpine rally. The car was destroyed in an accident in 1936. It's chassis number (originally issued to Ettore Bugatti) was re-issued later. This ladder car got a coupè spèciale body, it still exists. It appears that this recreation was built on chassis #57300.
