Afrikaans: Die (nuwe) Kaappuntvuurtoring is 87 meter bo seevlak geleë te Diaspunt, Kaappunt. Dit het die naasliggende ou Kaappuntvuurtoring (700 meter weg en 162 meter hoër geleë) in 1919 vervang, grootliks weens die stranding Portugese lynskip Lusitania in 1911. Op hierdie laer vlak word die vuurtoring nie so maklik in wolke gehul nie.

English: The (new) Cape Point Lighthouse is situated at Dias Point, Cape Point, at 87 metres above sea level. It replaced the old Cape Point Lighthouse (700 metres away and 162 metres higher up) in 1919, the wrecking of the Portuguese liner Lusitania in 1911 being a major factor in constructing a light house at a lower level, where it is less likely to be obscured by cloud.
