Cappoge is a townland in the civil parish of Castleknock, in the ancient barony of Castleknock. It is located close to the residential area of Blanchardstown. The townland is bordered to the north by the townland of Grange; to the east by the townland of Cardiffscastle in Finglas; to the south by the townland of Dunsink and to the west by the townland of Sheephill - the site of the National Sports Campus. Cappoge is bisected by the M50 motorway between junction 6 at Blanchardstown and junction 7 at Finglas. It is noted as the location of the National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh and the seat of Sir Richard Martin, 1st Baronet, of Cappagh.
