Category:Cobbler's pliers
Cobbler's pliers, combination pliers used in the shoemaking trade. A curved jaw is used to grip the edge of leather so that it may be pulled taut, assisted by a projection on the side of the pliers which can act as a fulcrum. This fulcrum block is also enlarged to act as a hammer head, to allow small tacks to be driven in without changing tools.
