Columbia University Medical Center is an academic medical center that includes Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, College of Dental Medicine, School of Nursing and Mailman School of Public Health. The campus covers several blocks (primarily between 165th and 169th Streets from the Henry Hudson Parkway to Audubon Avenue) in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, New York City. The core buildings of the center were designed by James Gamble Rogers (1928-1947), Rogers & Butler (1947-1964) and Rogers Butler & Burgun (1964-1974). (Source: AIA Guide (5th ed.))

The former site of Hilltop Park, the New York Yankees' first ballpark, is located within the center, and marked with a plaque
