Hiyam 'Abdu'l-Ilah Al-habib (1933-1999) was Crown Princess of Iraq. She was the wife of Crown Prince Abdu'l-Ilah, uncle and regent of the kingdom for his nephew king Faisal II. During the Iraqi Revolution of 1958 the Crown Princess was shot by a firing squad along with the other members of the royal family. Miraculously she was lucky enough to survive the shooting and after having recovered from her injuries she managed to escape the country, living the rest of her life into exile.
