Category:Dvojnice
Dvojnice or dvojanka is a double recorder (dual fipple flutes) from former Yugoslavia, with V-shaped two pipes caved from one-piece wood (two jedinkas[1]). Two pipes can be simultaneously played the two-part melodies usually in third, with limited tonal range.
In Croatia, dvojnica and its variants under different names were played: dvojnica, žveglica, dipla, dvogrla, dvojkinja, vidalica, etc. Similar pipes in some parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia had a reverse layout of holes.[2]
