Afrikaans: Bouvalle van die ou Oosfort is nog op Strubenkop in Pretoria sigbaar. Die Britte het die verskansing gebou om Pretoria aan die oostekant te beskerm nadat die hoofstad ingeneem is. Dit het ook as 'n seinheuwel en verkenningspunt gedien.
English: Ruins of the East Fort (or Eastern Redoubt during Second Boer War) are still visible on Strubenkop, Pretoria. It was built to protect the eastern approach to Pretoria after the Boer capital was taken by the British. It also served as signal station and lookout point.[1]
