folk clubs when Gram Parsons recruited her to be
his singing partner. Since breaking through as a solo
artist with her 1975 album, Pieces of the Sky, Harris
has continued to introduce traditional country to
a wider audience, while stretching the genre's
boundaries with her adventurous spirit and unique
artistic vision.
