English: Description CWGC: The village of Ruinerwold is 5 kilometres north-east of Meppel on the secondary road to Assen via Bielen. The cemetery is 500 metres south-west of the village, on the western side of the road to De Wijk. The war graves are in the centre of the cemetery, grouped on either side of a locally erected memorial. The memorial to these airmen was provided by local subscription and consists of a wrought iron screen in front of a brick panel, raised above the surrounding levels. There are now a small number of 1939-1945 War casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, 2 are unidentified.
