Category:First coat sheds of foals
English: The first time a foal sheds his coat is especially important - the impression of the coat colour can change drastically as new, fully-developed coat replaces the birthcoat. With some colours, it is not until the first coat shed before the foal's colour can be properly identified. The shedding begins round the eyes, proceeding to the face and then the body.
