Category:Former Empire Theatre, Harrogate

The Former Empire Theatre, Harrogate was originally built as a Primitive Methodist chapel (completed 1872), designed by Arthur Hiscoe. The former Empire Theatre (converted 1910), was a music hall run by Holden the puppeteer until 1931, in Cheltenham Mount, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England.

It was a cinema in the 1930s. In the 1950s it was a pram shop, run by Fridel Dalling-Hay nee Meyer. From the 1970s it has been a restaurant, converted again in 1986-1987 for Pinocchio's. It was fire-damaged in 1994, but re-opened the same year. As of 2023 it was occupied by the restaurant Cardamom Black.
