English: Fort Christiansborg (English: "Osu Castle") was built by the Swedish in 1661 after the act of transfer for an coastal area near of the village Osu (Ursue) by the King of Great-Accra to the King of Sweden at the spot of an old abandonned factory of the Portugueses ("Cára") as building ground for a fortificated post.
