Category:Fountain of Creation
Lorado Taft's Fountain of Creation was intended to stand at the east end of the Midway in Chicago as the companion piece to his Fountain of Time, which stands at the west end. After Taft's death the four surviving fragments of the work were given to Taft's alma mater, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Two fragments are outside the main entrance to the University Library, and two are located at the south end of Foellinger Auditorium.
