The George Payne (formerly the Kendal Arms) is a pub at 18 Payne Avenue (at the junction of Kendal Road) in the Poets' Corner area of Hove. George Payne was a late-19th-century property developer who was responsible for building up this part of Hove. It was built in 1901 for the Smithers Brewery, and is a locally listed building.
