In Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis, France), in the famous Royal Basilica, organ built in 1841 by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll helped by his father Dominique-Hyacinthe, and his older brother Vincent, restored by his successor Charles Mutin in 1901, then in 1988 by Bernard Dargassies with a harmonization by Jean-Loup Boisseau & Bertrand Cattiaux. It is Aristide's first masterpiece, which will raise him to the forefront of French and even world factors. The organ case, in neo-Gothic style, was designed by the architect Debret and made with the help of the sculptors Blois, Brion and Bouxin.
