English: Every year before Durga Puja, Jagannatha's miniature idol called Madhaba and Durga are worshipped together in a 'hidden' or 'secret' procession in the Narayani Temple of Puri. This period is called the Gupta Gundicha.
ଓଡ଼ିଆ: ପ୍ରତିବର୍ଷ ଦଶହରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମାଧବ ନାମ ବହିଥିବା ଜଗନ୍ନାଥଙ୍କ ଛୋଟ ପ୍ରତିମା ଓ ଦେବୀ ଦୁର୍ଗାଙ୍କୁ ପୁରୀର ନାରାୟଣୀ ମନ୍ଦିରଠାରେ ନିଆଯାଇ ଗୁପ୍ତଭାବେ ଏକତ୍ର ପୂଜା କରାଯାଏ । ଏହି ପର୍ବ ଗୁପ୍ତ ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ନାମରେ ଜଣାଯାଏ ।
