Category:Haleākala

English: Haleʻākala was the Pākīs' residence in Honolulu, on King Street. The second house was called Haleʻākala, or Pink House, and was also called ʻAikupika; the residence was built by Abner Pākī himself from the original grass hut at the site. The building was converted into the Arlington Hotel by the 1880s or 1890s and was finally torn down in 1900. This was the childhood home of Queen Liliuokalani and Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
