Deutsch: Das Hanseatische Oberlandesgericht wurde 1879 als als oberstes Gericht für die Freie Hansestadt Bremen (bis 1947), die Freie und Hansestadt Hamburg und die Hansestadt Lübeck (bis 1937) gegründet. Der heutige Bau am Sievekingplatz in der Hamburger Neustadt wurde von 1907 bis 1912 nach Plänen von Lundt & Kallmorgen erbaut. Heute beherbergt der Bau auch das Hamburgische Verfassungsgericht. Das Gebäude ist der Mittelpunkt des Justizforums, zu dem auch das Straf- und das Ziviljustizgebäude gehören.
English: The Hanseatic Supreme Courthouse was founded in 1879 as the common supreme court of the three republican states of then Germany, the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (part of the venue until 1947), the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the Hanseatic City of Lübeck (part of the venue until 1937). The present building on Sievekingplatz in the Neustadt quarter of Hamburg was erected between 1907 and 1912 following designs of Lundt & Kallmorgen. Beside the Hanseatic Supreme Courthouse the building also houses the Hamburgian Constitutional Court (Hamburgische Verfassungsgericht). Hanseatic Supreme Courthouse centres the justice forum on Sievekingplatz, which combines two more courts of Hamburg, one for civil and another for penal jurisdistion.
