English: The Haus zur Flechte was a historic building located at the market place "Hühnermarkt" in Frankfurt am Main. The originally gothic house was first mentioned in the year 1387. During the 18th century it was reshaped in baroque style. Demolished in March 1944 during World War II, it was reconstructed as part of the Dom-Römer project during the years 2012 to 2018. The reconstruction shows the state directly before demolition, including the inscriptions that were placed onto the facade during the 1930ies.
Deutsch: Das Haus zur Flechte am Hühnermarkt in Frankfurt am Main war ein ursprünglich gotisches Gebäude, das bereits im Jahr 1387 urkundlich erwähnt wurde. Im 18. Jahrhundert erfolgte ein Umbau im barocken Stil. Zerstört im März 1944 durch den zweiten Weltkrieg, wurde es im Rahmen des Dom-Römer-Projektes von 2012 bis 2018 rekonstruiert. Die Rekonstruktion zeigt den Zustand vor der Zerstörung inklusive der Inschriften aus den 1930er Jahren.
