English: Hawthorne Cottage National Historic Site of Canada is a picturesque, one-and-a-half storey wooden cottage with a wrap-around verandah. Set in the middle of a wooded lot in Brigus, Newfoundland, the house is noted both for its architectural style and as the former home of Bob Bartlett, captain of several notable Arctic expeditions in the early 20th century. The site was donated to the Canadian people in 1987 and is now maintained by Parks Canada as a historic house museum.

Français : Le lieu historique national du Canada du Cottage-Hawthorne est un pittoresque bungalow en bois d'un étage et demi, entouré d'une véranda. Cette maison, construite au milieu d'un terrain boisé de Brigus, à Terre-Neuve, est remarquable à la fois par son style architectural, et parce que Bob Bartlett, capitaine de plusieurs expéditions célèbres dans l'Arctique au début du XXe siècle, y a demeuré. Le site a été cédé aux Canadiens en 1987, et est maintenant entretenu par Parcs Canada à titre de maison historique faisant office de musée.
