English: The intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California: famous for its concentration of entertainment industry business. Famous buildings include the Laemmle Building (built 1932) on the northwest corner; Equitable Building (built 1929) on the northeast corner; the Hollywood Memorial Church (German Methodist, built 1902), later replaced with the Taft Building (built 1923) on the southeast corner; and the B.H. Dyas building (built 1927, and also known as the Broadway-Hollywood department store building). Also close to, and closely associated with, Hollywood and Vine: the Capitol Records Building (just to the north) and Hollywood Plaza Hotel (just to the south).
