The former Hotel Korona. In the 2000s event vemónue, office building, rentable shop rooms and hospitality establishments. - History: An episcopal inn was built at the end of the 18th century. On the site of the demolished inn, the Korona restaurant was built in 1855 according to the plans of Ferdinand Koczka, master builder from Szolnok. The ground floor of the new building initially housed a pub, café and restaurant. Later in the 19th century Card room, Cafe, Beer hall. There were 14 guest rooms in the building. By 1905, based on the plans of master mason József Csorba in 1903, a restaurant opening onto the main square was built, above it was the large dance hall upstairs, and shops were established in the northern half of the main building. The People's Bank of Makó bought the Crown in 1918 and built the wing facing the gymnasium in 1929. After 1945 it was named as Peace Hotel. It was renovated in 1963–67 with public/stately investment. There was an ice cream factory on the ground floor and a confectionery upstairs (around 1970s, 1980s). In 1999, its facade renovated. In 2004-2005 its interior remodelled, finaced by Phare . Facade plaques to István Tömöskény, the March Front (Hungarian literary and political movement, Est. 1937), Mihály Fátyol, gypsy violinist and Károly János Lukáts (1877-1970), military fencing master. Egykori Korona Szálló. 2000-es években 'Korona Üzleti és Szolgáltató Központ' Eklektikus üzletház és rendezvényhelyszín. Épült: 1855., 1905., 1929., 1967. Püspöki vendégfogadó épült a 18. sz. végén. A lebontott fogadó helyén 1855-ben Koczka Ferdinánd szolnoki építőmester tervei alapján épült a Korona vendéglő. Az új épület földszintjén volt ivószoba, kávéház és étterem; a 19. század végére az módosult: kártyaszoba, kávéház, sörcsarnok. - Az épületben 14 vendégszoba volt. 1905-re,-Csorba József kőművesmester 1903-es tervei alapján,-megépült a főtérre nyíló étterem, fölötte az emeleti nagy táncterem, főépület északi felében üzleteket alakítottak ki. - Makói Népbank 1918-ban vásárolta meg a Koronát, 1929-ben megépítette a gimnázium felőli szárnyat. 1945 után Béke Szálló volt. 1963–67-ben állami beruházással újították föl. A földszinten fagylaltüzem, az emeleten cukrászüzem működött.
