Ahmed Ressam, the "millennium bomber", acquired several Casio F91 digital watches to use in timers for the time bombs he planned to use to blow up LAX. He admitted that he had been trained to use this model of watch at an Afghan training camp. US intelligence officials believe that many other suspected militants received this or similar training.
