Les objets trouvés en Égypte, en Palestine ou sur les côtes syriennes présentent souvent de grandes similitudes de forme et de décor.De plus, les mêmes répertoires animaliers, végétaux et épigraphiques s'observent sur les métaux et les céramiques.

Copy frome the cartel : The Fatimid caliphaof Egypt extended its influence to the Levant (Syria/Palestine) as well as to Central Maghreb in the late 10th and 11th centuries. Objects found in Egypt, Palestine and the Syrian coastline are often very much alike in form and decoration. In addition, similar animal, vegetal and epigraphic motifs are to be seen on metalwork and ceramics.
