English: The Janie Seddon is a shipwreck on Motueka's foreshore. Built in 1901, she was named after a daughter of Richard Seddon. Sold to Talley's Fisheries in 1947, she was retired from fishing after a few years and anchored. During a low tide, she sat on her anchor and holed her hull. In 1955, she was dragged to her current position, but cutting her up for scrap metal did not work. She is now a tourist icon for Motueka.
