English: The Jaro Belfry is a historical landmark in Jaro, Iloilo City, built in 1744 during the Spanish occupation. It was heavily damage by an earthquake in 1787 and reconstructed in 1883. It was again ruined by an earthquake in 1948 and it was not until the 1990s that the belfry was totally restored.
