English: Jesse Gurney Vincent (1880 – 1962) was an American aircraft, marine, and automobile engine designer, and automobile and airplane pioneer. He became Hudson's chief engineer in 1910, and hold the same position at the Packard Motor Car Company from 1912-1946. During World War I, he was commissioned as a major in the U.S. Army Signal Corps as one of the key people with the development of the Liberty aircraft engine.
