Category:Kōro
English: A kōro (香炉) is an incense censer used in kōdō (香道, "Way of Incense"), the traditional Japanese art which involves using and appreciating incense within a structure of codified conduct, as well as sometimes in the Japanese tea ceremony. Examples are usually of globular form with three feet, made in pottery, Imari porcelain, Kakiemon, Satsuma, enamel or bronze.
