Deutsch: Die Straße in der Altstadt von Hannover (Stadtbezirk Mitte) führt vom heutigen Ballhofplatz zur Schloss- und Stadtkirche St. Crucis. Nach den Hannoverschen Geschichtsblättern von 1914 hieß die Straße im Mittelalter „Marstallstraße“, da hier ehemals der Marstall des Rates der Stadt lag. Erstmals 1747 wurde die Straße „Creutz-Straße“ genannt.
