English: Léon Theremin (born Lev Sergeyevich Termen, Russian language:Лев Сергеевич Термен) (August 27 [O.S. August 15] 1896 – November 3, 1993) was a Russian inventor, famous for his invention of the theremin, one of the first electronic musical instruments. He is also the inventor of interlace, and "The Thing", an espionage tool.
