The London and North Western Railway warehouse or Interchange House is Trans-shipment warehouse one used for the transfer of goods between canal vessels and railway wagons, it has a canal basin underneath the entrance which is spanned by a cast iron bridge dating from c.1856 and pre-dates the warehouse by 30 years. The railway tracks which once entered the building are long gone.
