English: Lochmaben Castle, near Lochmaben, Dumfries and Galloway, southern Scotland. Built by the English about AD1298 to replace the Old Lochmaben Castle Motte . Taken by Archibald the Grim in 1385, passed to the Crown in the 15th century and disused by the 17th century.
