Category:Log house (Moreston Heritage Village)
English: The log house at Moreston Heritage Village was built in 1843 in St. Vincent Township, Grey County. It was purchased by the County of Grey-Owen Sound Museum in 1967, moved to Owen Sound, and restored and expanded with a verandah and supported on a new foundation. It was moved to Moreston Heritage Village in March 2006, settled onto a new foundation, and has since been interpreted as an 1880s rural farmhouse. It is accompanied by two matching structures: an outhouse built in 1992, and a hen house built in 2000.
