English: London Sovereign Ltd (renamed from Sovereign Buses (London) Ltd on 12 July 2004) is a London bus operator. A post-privatisation operator, it had its origins as a subsidiary of Sovereign Bus & Coach (itself part of the Blazefield Group), when they created a Harrow based subsidiary to run London tendered routes. After SB&C bought Borehamwood Travel Services in 1994, operator of Routemaster route 13, this was then merged with the Harrow operation to form Sovereign London. In 2002 the company was sold to the Transdev Group, who also owned London United Busways. The company retained the Sovereign brand (albeit with Transdev strapline) until 2006, when Transdev introduced a generic identity for its London operations - see Category:Transdev London (bus company). On 3 March 2011, due to changes in the ownership of Transdev, United was transferred to the RATP Group, leaving Sovereign as Trandev's only London subsidiary. In this period a new Transdev logo emerged, but with still no Sovereign branding. On 28 April 2014, Transdev sold sovereign to RATP, marking their withdrawal from the London market. The Sovereign brand was subsequently restored, with buses gaining a London Sovereign RATP Group logo in the same style as United.
