English: Before the Feast of Venerable Macarius in August 2007, some of his relics (his Honorable Head) were transferred from the Pechersky Ascension Monastery in Nizhny Novgorod to Makaryev Monastery in Makaryevo. The reliquary travelled by boat along with a party of priests, making stops in riverside towns. This series of photos depicts the Saint's stopover at Kstovo on August 4, 2007. The layman who walks next to the bishop in several photos is probably the mayor of Kstovo, or some other city official.
